In the SIJHL, Thunder Bay's Northstars defeated the Fort Frances Lakers 5 to 2. In University men's basketball, the LU team fell to the Carleton Ravens 94-53. The women's LU basketball team were defeated by the Carleton Ravens as well 70-46.
