Eliminating racism, homophobia and harassment will take respect from
everyone in Thunder Bay. That's the theme of the new program that has
been adopted by the city. The "Respect" campaign was started at
Confederation college in 2006 by its student union and was incorporated
into the city Wednesday. Mayor Keith Hobbs says bridging cultural gaps
is vital for the future of Thunder Bay.
