Lakehead University is hosting a mining conference over the next two days. Organizer Pete Hollings says officials have high hopes for the gathering.The conference kicks off this morning with a speech from First Nations Ring of Fire negotiator Bob Rae. Hollings says topics include learning from past mining projects, looking to the future, and exploring current projects on the go.
