Crime Stoppers and the Fort Frances OPP are asking for your help in solving an attempted bank robbery in Fort Frances. In the early morning hours of September 12th, an unknown suspect left a threatening note and duffle bag at the back door of the Northern Lights Credit Union. The note demanded that money be placed in the bag or the threat to the bank, school and other businesses would be subject to extreme consequences. Police were contacted and the duffle bag and notes were collected as evidence. No was injured in the incident.
