Fire personnel will be back at a 2-storey Machar Avenue residence today
to try and determine the cause of a fire. Firefighters arrived just
after 9:30 p.m. last night to find smoke billowing from the living room
and front door. Heavy fire damage is being reported on the main floor
with considerable smoke damage upstairs. Crews determined there was no
one inside and quickly brought the fire under control.
