Port Arthur's Rotary Club is doling out 6 thousand dollars to six local organizations. Members of the club presented the charities with a cheque at an event this afternoon in the City. Spokesperson Laurie Tulloch says they'll be giving money to the Matawa Learning Centre to help provide meals and snacks to youth. Other charities sharing in the Rotary donation include St. John's Ambulance Youth Summer Camp, Leadership Thunder Bay, the St. James Schol Youth Program, Habitat for Humanity and a youth alcohol prevention program.
