The bad news is being delivered to about 70 Thunder Bay grain inspectors
and weighers this weekend by their union, the Public Service Alliance
of Canada. A spokesperson says a meeting is being held at the Airlane
Hotel to outline exactly which workers will loose their position as part
of the Harper government's cost cutting measures. When the cuts are
complete only about 30 inspectors and weighers will remain.
