A Thunder Bay police officer has been charged under the Police Services Act. Sergeant James Mauro is charged with Deceit and Discreditable Conduct. Mauro is accused of forging a letter from the President of the Police Association for an arbitration hearing in October. Mauro was suspended from duty March 26th.
